Announcements

Help Wanted! - We are in need of help in the nursery on Sunday mornings.  This consists of teams of two adults of which at least one must be a female.  The cycle is to work once per month at the most with a month off after every five months.  See David or Carol Kotzer or Pastor Nathan with questions or if you are interested.

Directory Update - Many of you have been asking about the state of the directory.  I am still in the process of proofing and adding families.  I hope to have the proof back to LifeTouch next week.  I apologize for how long this has taken and thank you for your patience. (Irene)

Sermon Notes - Would you like to have the sermon notes in front of you while you listen on Sunday?  Email us at info@mvcministries.org and we will put you on the email list to receive the sermon outline each week.

Hear Sermons Again - Want to hear this week’s or last week’s sermon again?  You can sign up for your own CD on the sign-up sheet in the foyer or download or podcast the sermon at www.majesticviewchurch.org.  To download, open the website, click on “Media”, click on “Sermons” and then choose the sermon you would like to hear.  If you have questions, contact Pastor Nathan.

Online Giving - MVC is now accepting online giving on our web-site.  You can choose to do a one-time donation or a repeat donation.  Go to the Giving tab and check it out.

“From Our Hearts”

By Pastor John S. Smith

Thank you for coming to our website. If I could have a moment of your time, I would like to share my heart and the heart of Majestic View.

Majestic View was born as a result of an amazing opportunity to join God in His work. We, the members of MVC, will always be humbled and grateful to be a part of what the Lord has chosen to do in Elbert County, Colorado. We realize that our efforts are in vain or at least only man-sized if we do only what we are able to do. However, we recognize that the power of Almighty God is unexplainable and certainly greater than the sum of our human efforts.

In 1996 we came together as a body to join the Lord Jesus in His work in Elbert County. Today we are a congregation that lives to obey Him and the calling that He has given to all of His children and in particular His local churches.

This “Calling” which we have chosen to identify as “The Cause” is to obey the last words of Jesus to the early church. Those words are found in Matthew 28:18-20 and can be summed up as a command to “make disciples.” The foundational purpose of our church, and thus this website, is to guide those who will take the challenge to “go into all the world… and make disciples.” We pray that the resources found here will not only encourage you in your personal walk, but also will be tools for you to join us as we “Make Disciples.”
