What We Believe

  1. All scripture is verbally inspired by God. Timothy 3:16-17
The Bible is the Word of God. It is the only standard for our belief and practice.
It is to be interpreted literally unless obviously symbolic.

  2. There is one true God who exists in three persons.  Matthew 28:19
Almighty God is the creator of the Universe.  Genesis 1:1

  3. Jesus Christ was born of a virgin.  Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:18-25

  4. God has provided for our salvation through the death of Jesus Christ on the
cross and the giving of His blood in atonement for our sins.  Romans 3:25, Hebrews 9:22

  5. Jesus Christ arose bodily from the dead and ascended unto God the Father.  Matthew 28, Mark 16

  6. Man is a sinner and in need of a Savior.  Romans 3:23

  7. Faith in Jesus provides for our eternal security.  John 10:28-29
